In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the victory in the war against the United States and North Korea, the Volunteer Army trilogy will present a panoramic, multi-dimensional and three-dimensional view of this founding battle for a new China. The film "The Volunteer Army: A Mighty Army Strikes" is the first in the series.

At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, the new China was faced with a situation of "internal trouble and external danger". Since the outbreak of the Korean civil war, the United States army had repeatedly provoked provocations on the border between China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and civilians were bombed. In order to safeguard the hard-won peace, and for the sake of long-term stability for generations, the Chinese People's Volunteers entered Korea in October 1950, and the war against the United States and for North Korea began.

It's a "war of nations" -

On the Korean battlefield, even though there was a huge difference in armaments, our army won every victory with heroic sacrifices;

On the diplomatic stage, the delegation of the People's Republic of China made its first appearance at the United Nations, and China's new voice won international awe.
